Climbing Technology has issued a voluntarily request for inspection of the Gryphon (Ref. No. 7H174) and Gryphon Ascender (Ref. No. 7H178) full body harnesses by the user.

We have discovered a typo in the instructions for use for the FINCH+ multi-purpose work at height lanyard (7L928**).
The concerned instruction manual codes are:

The French consumer safety and protection agency (CCRF Protection et Sécurité du Consommateur) has informed us that the labelling of Mag Fluid liquid chalk (Ref. No. MAGFLUID) does not comply with the regulations currently in force.

We have been informed by our supplier Péguet regarding a possible criticality on the product “Maillon Rapide 8 mm Normal acier zingué EN 362 / EN 12275 Réf. MRNZ08.0 CE EN” our part number Q-Link 08 (Ref. No. 3Q82008V5001).

We have detected a wrong value on the user manual of the multi-use lanyard for work at height FINCH+ (7L928**). The code of the involved manual is IST23-7L928CTS0_rev.1 05-20.

We have found that some ORBITER M pulleys (Ref. No. 2P664) have been packaged with general instructions not updated.

We found a misprint in the instructions for use of the DUAL pulley (Ref. No. 2P668), where a wrong workload was indicated.

We found a misprint in the instructions for use of the UP LOCK device (Ref. No. 2P672), where the standard EN 567:1997 was wrongly indicated instead of EN 567:2013.

We have been reported about a few rare cases of plastic bindings that have broken unexpectedly. Front binding (toe side) and / or rear binding (heel side). Such breakage irreparably affects the normal and proper use of the “CRAMPON”. The evidence of an even slight risk of breakage of the bindings makes the device itself unsuitable for use.

The Via Ferrata set with energy absorber rope used or aged may have a malfunction when dropped.
